GREEN ISLE-Aaron Kes connected on a two-out single and later scored the game-winning run when Austin Bachman smoked a double into left field to lift New Prague to a 6-2 10-inning victory over the Sobieski Skis in Saturday's Class C state tournament.
Kes's run made it 3-2 with two out in the 10th. James Fuerniss then singled in Bachman and Zak Dubanoski nailed a two-run homer for insurance.
The four-run explosion came off starter Tyler Jendro, who pitched 9 ⅔ innings. He finished with six runs on seven hits and two walks. He hit two batters and struck out nine.
Thomas Miller pitched the final out before the Skis went down in order in the 10th to end their season.
Beau hanowski went 1-4 with a walk and a run scored. Riley Hirsch collected Sobieski's other run as he finished 0-3 with two sacrifices.

Scott Litchy drove in a run and stole a base and Joey Hanowski went 1-3 with a double and an RBI.
