WATKINS - A three-run home run by Jason Ropeke in the eighth inning pushed Nisswa past Jordan 3-2 in Sunday's quarterfinal round of the Class C state tournament.
Drew Boland reached on a double and Jeremiah Piepkorn also reached before Roepke's blast.
Ropke finsfinishediehd 2-4 with the three RBIs and a double.
Kyle Schaible went the distance for the Lightning. He struck out four and allowed two earned runs on five hits and a walk.
The Raiders were scheduled to play the Plato Bluejays in the semifinals to advance to Monday's final.

On Saturday, Nisswa belted out 16 hits to eliminate New Market 10-4. Aaron Jenkins finished 4-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI.
Brett Jenkins finished 3-4 with an RBI. Luke Schumer and Tyler Wittwer each drove in three runs on two hits. Wittwer also scored twice and hit a home run.
Kyle Collins, a pick up from Avon, threw eight innings. He allowed two earned runs on seven hits and two walks. He struck out four.
