Amateur Baseball: Rebels 10-run Aitkin

FORT RIPLEY--Rhett Williamson went 3-5, stole three bases, drove in two runs and scored twice to lead the unbeaten Fort Ripley Rebels past the Aitkin Steam 11-1 in eight innings Monday, May 27 in a North Division game.

Ethan Branum, Brad Waytashek and Mac Brink had two hits apiece for the 4-0 Rebels.

Carter Olson accounted for two of the five Aitkin hits.

Bulldogs 16, Flensburg 5

FLENSBURG-Chuck Boser crushed a grand slam homer to lead the Pierz Bulldogs past the Flensburg Falcons 16-5 in a seven-inning, non-division game Monday, May 27.

Craig Luberts finished 3-4 with a double, two RBIs and four runs scored for Pierz and Logan Meyer was 2-5 with three RBIs.

Starter Joe Strauch got the win and Meyer tossed the final three innings for a save.

Sobieski 20, Swanville 2

SWANVILLE-Colin Eckman, Tyler Jendro and Dan Marod belted homers for the Sobieski Skis who dispatched the Swanville Swans 20-2 in seven innings Monday, May 27 in a West Division game.

Marod also doubled and Austin Weisz contributed two doubles for the 4-1 Skis, who won their fourth straight.
