FORT RIPLEY — Nathan Ehnstrom finished with a double, two runs and three RBIs to help secure Fort Ripley’s first victory of the season Monday, May 31, with an 11-1 eight-inning win over the Pierz Bulldogs.
Brian Skluzacek drove in two runs and scored once while Mac Brink was 1-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. The Rebels only posted four hits in the victory.
Bryce Flanagan struck out nine and walked two in six innings. He allowed one unearned run on five hits.
Mac Brink pitched the final two innings. He walked one and struck out three.
Charles Boser drove in the Bulldogs’ lone run with a triple.

Pierz Lakers 7, Nisswa 2
PIERZ — Preston Rocheleau struck out six over 6.1 innings to pitch the Pierz Lakers to a 7-2 victory over the Nisswa Lightning Monday, May 31.
Rocheleau allowed two runs, one earned, on five hits and four walks. Chad Weiss pitched the final 2.2 innings. He allowed one hit, walked none and struck out five.
Peter Herman hit a home run and drove in two runs and scored twice and Reggie Litke was 2-4 with two RBIs for Pierz.
Kody Ruedisili and Tory Miller drove in Nisswa’s two runs. Miller was 2-5. Brett Jenkins was tagged with the loss. He allowed six runs, none earned, on five hits and three walks. He struck out three.

ST. MATHIAS — Cole Jendro went 3-5 with a home run for the Royalton Riverdogs who defeated the St. Mathias Devils 6-3 Monday, May 31.
Nathan Psyck threw a complete game for Royalton.
Hunter Wicklund, Kyle Wicklund, Burrell Flanagan, Konnor Wicklund and Nate Eschenbacher each had a hit for the Devils, who committed six errors.

Sobieski 15, Opole 2
OPOLE — Dusty Parker allowed just two hits to go with three walks and seven strikeouts as he pitched Sobieski to a 15-2 victory Monday, May 31.
Parker allowed two runs on two hits for the complete-game victory as Sobieski scored eight runs in the eighth inning to close the game an inning early.
Collin Eckman, Joey Hanowski and Zach Opatz each homered for the Skis. Beau Hanowski went 3-6 with an RBI, double and two runs scored. Matt Baier doubled and scored twice. Eckman scored four times and finished 3-5 with two RBIs. Joey Hanowski drove in three runs. Ben Hanowski was 2-5 with a double, two runs and two RBIs and Tyler Jendro finished 3-4 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI.

BUCKMAN — Austin Dickmann allowed just three hits on his way to pitching the Buckman Billygoats to a 5-1 victory over Royalton Sunday, May 30.
Dickmann allowed just one unearned run. He walked two and struck out five over nine innings.
Shawn Lanners drove in three runs and Lane Gitz finished 2-3 with two runs. Matt Tautges doubled, scored and drove in a run for Buckman.
