BRAINERD — Dan Marod went 3-5 with a double, triple and five RBIs to power the Sobieski Skis to a 10-1 victory over the Brainerd Bees Friday, July 1, at Mills Field.

Marod hit a three-run double in the sixth to break open the game.

Jake Kappahan struck out 13 and allowed one run on seven hits over seven innings.

Brainerd’s Joel Martin finished 3-5. Eli Roberts was 2-4 with a run. Mason Argir was 2-4 with a double and Tom Fairbanks doubled.

Eric Martin pitched five innings for the Bees. He allowed one run on two hits over five innings. He struck out six.
