Brainerd VFW baseball hosts the 65th annual VFW Baseball Tournament starting Thursday, Aug. 8 and ending Sunday, Aug. 11.
Forest Lake will play Owatonna to open up the tournament Thursday at 10 a.m. Brainerd will play Chaska a half hour later at 10:30 a.m. Mankato will play Sauk Rapids at 12:30 p.m. and Montrose will play Spring Lake Park at 1 p.m. Grand Rapids and Austin both received byes in the tournament.
The double elimination tournament will be played at either Mills Field in Memorial Park and Adamson Field or Brainerd High School.
