FINLAYSON-Tyler Peterson's 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh lifted the Esko Eskomos past the Aitkin Gobblers 6-5 in a non-conference game Saturday.
The loss was the first of the season for Aitkin which had won its first 10 games.
Wyatt Sanford worked six innings for the Gobblers allowing five hits and three earned runs with four strikeouts and six walks.

Rangers split
DEER RIVER-Noah Gindorff finished 4-7 on the day with three doubles and four RBIs for the Crosby-Ironton Rangers as their lost to Deer River 9-5 and defeated Nashwauk-Keewatin 8-2 at the Deer River Tournament Saturday.
Jake Larson went 2-3 with two runs for the Rangers in their loss. Nate Williams was 2-3 with one RBI.
Beau Sanford finished 3-3 with two doubles, one run and one RBI in the Rangers' win.

ST. CLOUD-Austin Weisz went 3-3 with two RBIs during the Little Falls Flyers' 11-4 Game Two win over St. Cloud Apollo at the Eagles' tournament Saturday.
Hunter Swanson went 2-3 with four RBIs during the Flyers win. AJ Jenks tallied a double and three runs. Winning pitcher Derek Poser went five innings allowing two hits and one earned run with one walk and three strikeouts.
Jenks tripled and scored the lone run for Little Falls in its 2-1 Game One loss to the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers. Mitchell Boros was 2-3. Jenks went the distance on the mound yielding four hits and two earned runs with three walks and eight strikeouts.
