Area Baseball: Flyers open season with loss to Cathedral

ST. CLOUD — Little Falls’ Zach Gwost recorded six strikeouts in four innings in the Flyers 5-0 Granite Ridge Conference loss to St. Cloud Cathedral Saturday, April 10.

Gwost and Austin Neu recorded the only two hits for the Flyers.

Grant Wensmann and Matt Larson each hit a double for the Crusaders in the win. Andrew Rott earned the win and Gwost was hit with the loss in Flyers’ opening game
