BEMIDJI --Sam Nagel finished 2-3 with a double for the No. 3 Little Falls Flyers in a 2-1 upset over the No. 2 Bemidji Lumberjacks in the Section 8-3A semifinals Wednesday, May 29.
Travis Wenzel went 2-3 and added a double to improve the Flyers to 11-9 overall.

ST. CLOUD-Cody Kimman went 1-3 with three RBIs and Jack Suska knocked in a run, tripled and knocked in the other run in a 4-3 win for No. 3 Pierz over No. 11 Annandale in the Section 6-2A quarterfinals Wednesday, May 29, at Faber Field.
The Pioneers led 1-0 after five, but the Cardinals scored three runs off Peter Schommer in the top of the sixth inning to take a 3-1 lead. Kimman's two-out, two-run single was the key hit in a three-run sixth inning to give the Pioneers a 4-3 lead.
Jonah Prokott shut Annandale down in the top of the seventh with the final out coming on a pop-up to the catcher with runners on first and second base to earn the save and get the win for Schommer.
