PIERZ - Lane Girtz pitched a 4-hit complete game and drove in two runs during the Pierz Pioneers' 6-0 Central Minnesota Conference win over the Holdingford Huskers Monday.
Girtz walked two and struck out five for Pierz which leads the CMC and has won four straight. Noah Boser clubbed a 2-run homer for the Pioneers.

PILLAGER - Raymond Rohl went 3-4 with a 2-run homer and double for the Pillager Huskies as they were edged 5-4 by New York Mills in eight innings in the second game of a Park Region Conference doubleheader that was postponed by darkness April 28 and completed Monday.

Ridge Hunstad was 2-3 with a double and Rider Hunstad doubled for the Huskies.
Zach Forsberg pitched the first six innings April 28 and pitched the only inning Monday. He finished with five strikeouts, six walks and allowed eight hits.
