LITTLE FALLS-Thomas Miller's double to the gap in left-center in the bottom of the seventh drove in the winning run to give the No. 1 Little Falls Flyers a 4-3 victory over the No. 5 Sartell Sabres in Wednesday's Section 8-3A tournament winners bracket game.
Class 3A's seventh-ranked Flyers trailed 3-0 after two innings before rallying for one in the fourth and two in the sixth.
The Flyers' Daniel Marod finished 2-3 with an RBI. Chris Reller picked up the win throwing the final two innings in relief and had the only other Little Falls hit.

Aitkin drops second game
PROCTOR-Drew Nordean doubled for one of Aitkin's four hits during the No. 2-seeded Gobblers' 5-2 loss to the No. 3 Mora Mustangs in the Section 7-2A tournament winners bracket Wednesday.
The loss snapped Aitkin's 11-game winning streak.
In Game One, Drew Nordean was 2-for-4 with two RBIs during the Gobblers' 8-1 win over the No. 7 seeded Pine City Dragons. Wyatt Sanford was 2-for-4 with one RBI. Jack Kuppich pitched a complete game with three strikeouts and six walks allowing one earned run and three hits.

Eli Winegarner had the only other hit for the Rangers who finish the season 5-16.
