PIERZ — Michael Leidenfrost went 2-3 and led off a 3-0 Pierz victory over Upsala/Swanville with his third triple of the season Monday, July 20.
Leidenfrost added an RBI single in the fifth inning to drive in Rylee Rauch, who went 1-2 with a double in the Babe Ruth 18U contest.
Pitchers Peter Schommer, Isaac Otte, Jeremy Bingesser and Noah Cekalla combined for the shutout.
Ryan Stuckmayer was 1-2 with an RBI single in the first and Cody Kimman was 1-3 with a solo home run to left field to lead off the sixth inning and create the final score.
