Area Baseball: Pierz doubles up Flyers

PIERZ - Cody Meyer allowed one run on three hits and four walks to pitch the Pierz Pioneers to a 6-3 non-conference victory over the Little Falls Flyers Thursday.

PIERZ - Cody Meyer allowed one run on three hits and four walks to pitch the Pierz Pioneers to a 6-3 non-conference victory over the Little Falls Flyers Thursday.

Meyer also went 2-3 with a double and an RBI.

Pierz's Lane Girtz finished 2-4 with one RBI. Noah Boser was 2-4 with a run and David Skiba went 2-2 with an RBI.

For the Flyers, Dan Marod went 2-4 with two doubles and two runs and Bryce Zawatzke was 2-2.
