Ty Swenson collected hits in the first three games the Pillager Legion played in the Central Lakes Classic Tournament that concluded Sunday, July 7.
In Pillager’s first game, Swenson, Bo Kruchten, Griffin Decker and Blake Clark all picked up singles in their 10-0 loss to Buffalo. Sam Jensen got the loss for Pillager
Dalton Barrett had two RBIs and Clark and Swenson each had a double in a 15-5 loss to Brainerd in Game Two. Swenson took the loss against Brainerd.
In the third game, Swenson went 2-2, Decker got a double and Cole Hilter had an RBI single in a 13-3 loss to Lincoln, Neb. Blake Clark pitched the loss.
