HENNING-Justin Dykhoff finished 3-5, and tallied four RBIs with two home runs for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines as they defeated the Ottertail Central Bulldogs 10-4 to win the Park Region Conference title Friday, May 17.
W-DC's Josh Dykhoff went 1-3 with a triple, Wyatt Hamann registered 3-4 and added a double.
Payton Rondestvedt also contributed a double and Chase Nordlund earned the win for the 17-1 Wolverines.

Aitkin sweeps Park Rapids
AITKIN-Landon Goble delivered a walk-off RBI and Logan Olson was the winning pitcher in both games as the Aitkin Gobblers swept the Park Rapids Panthers 9-6 and 10-9 in a Mid-State Conference doubleheader Friday, May 17.
Goble's sacrifice fly to center scored Owen Miller for a walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth of Game One. Miller finished the game 3-3 with two walks, an RBI, two stolen bases and four runs scored.
Hunter Nissen drove in four runs and was 2-4 with two stolen bases for the Gobblers. Jon Blanchette and Quin Miller collected multiple hits.
Olson picked up the win in relief as he retired the Panthers in order on eight pitches in the top of the ninth.
Aitkin built a 10-2 lead in Game Two and had to hold off a Panther rally that plated seven runs in the final two innings off relief pitcher Quin Miller.
Olson started and earned his second win of the day. He allowed two runs on three hits and struck out three over four innings.

Carter Dox went 3-4 with a double and three RBIs for the Gobblers. Jake Ince, Carter Olson and Blanchette finished with two hits apiece.
Aitkin is 8-0 in the Mid-State and 13-4 overall.

PL sweeps S-M
PEQUOT LAKES-Cam Anderson went 2-2 and slammed a double and a home run as the Pequot Lakes Patriots defeated the Staples-Motley Cardinals 11-1 and 13-0 in a Mid-State Conference doubleheader Friday, May 17.
S-M's Ben Olander finished 1-2 with a double and Joshua Kossan led 2-3 with one RBI as the Cardinals fall to 3-6 in the conference and 6-9 overall.
In Game Two, Daltin Ackerman was 3-4 and contributed three RBIs and a double, Anderson struck out three and added a double for the Patriots.
Dylan Messenbrink hit 2-3, added three RBIs and registered a triple to improve the Patriots to 10-4 overall and 6-1 in conference.
