Area Boys Basketball: Bristow, Tigers win on the road

Five area boys basketball teams battled on the hardcourt Tuesday, Feb. 16.

KELLIHER — Brady Bristow scored a team-high 23 points, while Champ Howard tallied 16 points and Kyosuke Marcum finished with 11 to lead Pine River-Backus to a 74-37 Northland Conference win over Kelliher/Northome Tuesday, Feb. 16.

The Tigers held the Mustangs to just 10 second half points.

Adam Oberlander and Wyatt Kobliska each added 11 points for the Cards who trailed 24-16 at halftime.

Alex Morgan added 25 points for the Patriots and Sam Rysavy contributed 18.
