Area Boys Basketball: Gobblers score a road win

STAPLES — Aitkin’s Kade Hopperstad and Mannie Ukutegbe each totaled 21 points for the Gobblers as they topped the Staples-Motley Cardinals 66-37 in a Mid-State Conference game Friday, Feb. 21.

Sivert Klefsaas led the Cardinals with nine points.

The Gobblers beat the Cardinals 74-42 Jan. 23. Aitkin has now won five of its last six games.

Carsen Turk added 18 points and Jordan Oehrlein 11 for the Rangers who have won four of their last five games.
