Area Boys Basketball: Lake Region splits the last day of the Iowa tournament

ANKENNY — Lake Region’s Phil Imdieke registered 35 points and 18 rebounds for the Hornets as they defeated Shawnee in a 67-59 overtime victory at the Faith Baptist Bible College Tournament Saturday, Jan. 30.

In their second tournament game of the day Trey Ogren tallied 16 points for the Hornets in their 49-39 loss to Crosspointe.

Imdieke and Ogren were both named all-tournament.
