PEQUOT LAKES-Jordan Schommer turned in a game-high 23 points for the Pequot Lakes Patriots who avenged an earlier loss to Detroit Lakes defeating the Lakers 80-67 in Mid-State Conference action Monday, Feb. 11.
Schommer netted 17 first-half points for the Patriots, who trailed 41-36 at the break.
After falling behind by 10 five minutes into the second half, Pequot began its comeback led by Bode Magnuson who scored nine of his 11 points in the second half and Tyler Manley who tallied eight of his 10 points after the break. Sean Ryan finished with 10 points.
Detroit Lakes topped Pequot 64-61 Dec. 13 and leads the conference at 5-1.
