CROSBY — Crosby-Ironton’s Dietrich Winegarner led all scorers with 23 points and Pierz’s Ryan Stuckmayer finished with 21 as the two teams battled into overtime before the Pioneers prevailed 69-63 in a Section 7-2A game Tuesday, Feb. 23.

It was the seventh straight win for Pierz, who knocked the Rangers out of the Section 7-2A playoffs in their last meeting.

Jordan Oehrlein scored 21 points for Crosby-Ironton and Carsen Turk scored 13.

Jonah Prokott added 16 for Pierz with Noah Cekalla and Michael Leidenfrost each contributing 10 points.
