Area Boys Basketball: Pirates cruise to 5th straight win

Jordan Brownlow added 10 points for the Pirates who have won five straight and are 19-6 heading into the North Subsection 5-1A playoffs.

PR-B was led by Brady Raph with 15 points and is 11-15 going into the playoffs.

The Cardinals were down by 17 points at halftime.
Josh Lombard added 13 points and Trey Skeesick 12 for S-M which has won four of its last five.

PIERZ-Matt Tautges pumped in 31 points and grabbed five rebounds for Pierz in the Pioneers' 79-56 loss to the Holdingford Huskers in a Central Minnesota Conference game Friday.

Holdingford, which has won eight straight, captured the conference title outright with the victory.

It was the third straight loss for the Pioneers who received nine rebounds from Peter Schommer and seven from Preston Rocheleau.
