Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin opened Section 7-2A tournament play Tuesday, May 25.

BIWABIK — Will Meyer’s 15th-place 87 has Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin sitting in eighth place after the opening round of the Section 7-2A tournament Tuesday, May 25, at Giants Ridge.

Frank Meyer fired an 89 followed by Tyler Bill’s 90 and a 95 from Luke Severson.

The top four teams and top 20 individuals not on those teams advance to the second round. Both Meyers and Bill advanced. Severson missed by one stroke.
