Area Boys Golf: Erholtz fifth for sixth-place Cardinals

DETROIT LAKES--Eighth-grader Beck Erholtz carded a 71, good for fifth place individually, to lead the Staples-Motley Cardinals to sixth in the team standings in Thursday's Detroit Lakes Invite at Lakeview Golf Course.

Hunter Clement, Tyson Kramer and Henry Neva turned in 74s on the par 64 course to pace the third-place Pequot Lakes Patriots.

Thomas Quincer was the top finisher for the eighth-place Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines with an 80.
