STAPLES — Beck Erholtz defended his home course with a 2-under 70 to lead the Staples-Motley Cardinals into a two-way tie for first place Saturday, May 1, at The Vintage at Staples.
Princeton won the tiebreaker to claim the team title.
Tyler Seeling’s second-place 71 paced the fourth-place Pequot Lakes Patriots. Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin placed fifth with Frank Meyer’s fourth-place 76 leading the way.
S-M’s Carter White rounded out the top five individually with his 76.
Logan Herold’s 79 pushed Pierz to eighth and Isaiah Aulie’s 87 led the Pine River-Backus Tigers to seventh.
