SARTELL - Led by Andrew Israelson's 74 Monday, the Staples-Motley Cardinals advanced into the championship round of the Section 6-2A tournament.

The Cardinals shot a team score of 342 to land in fourth place at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club. Tyler Helling fired an 83, Finn Erholtz an 89 and Jack Benson a 96. St Cloud Cathedral owns the top spot with a 324 team score.

The top four teams advance as well as individuals who made the cut of 85 or better. That includes Kyler Erdman and Austin Visker of Little Falls, who shot 80 and 84 respectively, and Wadena-Deer Creek's Jordan Kern, who carded an 84.
