Area Boys Golf: Pierz’s Herold ties for 1st

Three area teams competed in two boys golf invites.

PIERZ —Pierz’s Logan Herold tied for first with a nine-hole score of 39 as the Pierz Pioneers finished third in a Granite Ridge meet at Pierz Municipal, Thursday, April 15.

Little Falls’ Nicholas Stevens and George Moore each recorded 47s for the third-place Flyers.

Pillager places 5th

ELBOW LAKE — Evan Imgrund shot a 98 to lead the Pillager Huskies to a fifth-place finish in a Quad County Conference meet Thursday, April 15, at Tipsinah Mounds.

Brendan Brichacek shot a 102 and Owen Pantzke fired a 103 for Pillager.
