LITTLE FALLS-Little Falls goalie Dane Couture stopped all nine shots he faced while the Flyers were peppering Wadena-Deer Creek with 45 shots in a 7-0 win over the Wolverines in a game between Section 6-1A schools Thursday, Dec. 6.
Little Falls outshot WDC 18-1 in the opening period and took a 2-0 lead on a Gabe Hirsch power-play goal and a short-hander by Matt Filippi.
Nicholas Stevens found the back of the net in the second and added another goal in the third. Mason Doble, Devon Young and Ryan Buckallew also netted Flyer goals in the third.
