Area Boys Hockey: Flyers skate to 9th straight win

SAUK RAPIDS--Remington Retka netted the eventual game-winning goal for the Little Falls Flyers who won their ninth straight, 5-3 over the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm in non-conference play Friday.

Remington's second-period goal gave the Flyers a 4-1 lead. The Storm scored twice in the third before Adam Josephson hit an empty net in the final minute to seal the win.

Josh Jennings, Mario Filippi and Trenton Axel also scored for the Flyers who are 10-3.

Little Falls outshot the Storm 43-18 with Flyer goalie Justin Pekula recording 15 saves.
