ST. PAUL — Matt Filippi scored the game-winning seven seconds into overtime for Little Falls in its 6-5 win over Orono Friday, Nov. 26, at TRIA Rink in St. Paul.
Filippi’s game-winner completed a hat trick for him as he scored twice in the second period.
Carter Oothoudt also scored a hat trick for the Flyers and scored twice in the second period. His third goal tied the game in the third period with under two minutes to go.
Hayden Johnson tallied three assists for the Flyers including Filippi’s game-winner.
Orono’s Eason Sankey recorded a hat trick as the game featured three players with hat tricks.

Flyers’ goaltender Richie Varriano notched 35 saves in net as Orono outshot Little Falls 40-31.
