Area Boys Hockey: Lightning breeze to 14th straight victory

BREEZY POINT--Matt Stangel was near perfect in goal rejecting 18 shots for the Northern Lakes Lightning who won their 14th straight game, 5-1 over the Kittson Central Bearcats in a non-conference game Friday.

Scoring goals for the Lightning were Kasey Couture, Maverick Engstrom,, Max Tangen, Brett Reed, and Shane Donovan.

Northern Lakes outshot the Bearcats 46-19 and improved to 16-1-1.
