WADENA - Five different players netted goals as the Northern Lakes Lightning rallied for three third-period scores to defeat the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 5-3 in a Mid-State Conference game Tuesday.
Nick Reed tallied the go-ahead score at 13:13 on a power play and Wyatt Kokesh put in an insurance goal 21 seconds later. Also scoring for Northern Lakes were Jake Hyytinen, Brett Gontarek and Kyle Sellner.
Drew Killian, Jarrett Pettit and Jake Dyhkoff collected goals for W-DC, which has lost three straight.
