WADENA - Nick Reed netted both goals for Northern Lakes in the Lightning's 2-1 Mid-State Conference victory over the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines Tuesday.
Josh Maucieri assisted on both goals and Wyatt Kokesh was also credited with an assist.
Jarrett Pettit scored the WDC goal assisted by Mitchell Janson and Max Phillips.
Both teams put 28 shots on goal. Mitch Stangel had 27 saves for the Lightning and Reid Miller 26 for the Wolverines.
