Area Boys Hockey: Little Falls advances to section finals

Little Falls hosts Sartell in the Section 6-1A semifinals Tuesday, March 23

LITTLE FALLS — Little Falls goalie Dane Couture tallied 31 saves on 32 shots as the No. 1 seeded Little Falls Flyers bested the No. 4 seeded Sartell Sabres 3-1 in the Section 6-1A semifinals Tuesday, March 23.

Scoring opened for the Little Falls in the second period on a goal by Nicholas Stevens, assisted by Gunnar Gustafson. Cater Oothoudt and Hayden Johsnson also recorded goals for the Flyers.

The Flyers will host No. 2 seed Fergus Falls in the section finals Thursday, March 25.
