Area Boys Hockey: Little Falls defeats Bluejackets

ISANTI--Jake Kapphahn tallied a goal and an assist, and Justin Pekula recorded 15 saves in a 5-2 win for the Little Falls Flyers against the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets Thursday.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Flyers who put 51 shots on net.

WADENA-Preston Warren notched a hat trick and assisted on the fourth goal in a 4-3 win by the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines over the Park Rapids Panthers in a Mid-State Conference game Thursday.

Justin Dykhoff netted the other goal for the Wolverines who led 4-0 in the third before holding off a Park Rapids rally that included two short-handed goals. Goalie Noah Stevens recorded 30 saves for WDC which was outshot 33-21.
