LITTLE FALLS — Little Falls’ Gabe Hirsch recorded two goals and three assists for the Flyers as they crushed Sheyenne, N.D. in the first round of the Little Falls Holiday Tournament Thursday, Dec. 26.

Also scoring twice for the Flyers was Ryan Buckallew who totaled two assists.

ST. CLOUD — Mason Schroeder posted a goal and four assists to lead the Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato Dragons to a 6-3 victory over the Northern Lakes Lightning in the first round of the Granite City Showcase Thursday, Dec. 26

Kyler Couture scored twice, including the only goal in the first period, for a 1-0 Lightning lead after one period.

The Dragons rattled off five second period goals for a 5-1 advantage.

Caiden Kjelstrom opened the third period with a goal from an assist from Erik Larsen. Larsen assisted on two goals. Hunter Nybakken added another assist.

Sam LeMieur collected 25 saves in net for the Lightning.
