Brandon Backowski's first period score gave the Flyers all they would need, but Riley Scanlon took advantage of a Storm major penalty to punch in two more with Thomas Miller and Hunter Swanson each getting assists on both goals.

Brett Czajkowski scored the final goal in the third.

ISANTI-Josh Maucieri netted the lone Northern Lakes Lightning goal in Tuesday's 2-1 non-conference loss to Cambridge.
