Area Boys Hockey: W-DC doubles up Bagley/Fosston

WADENA — Cole Woods netted a pair of goals for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines who picked up their second win of the season with a 6-3 victory over the Bagley/Fosston Flyers Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Also collecting goals for WDC were Cole Berglund, Jack Koranda, Wyatt Murray and Kade Woods.

The Wolverines outshot the Flyers 44-28 with WDC goalie Josh Dykhoff recording 25 saves.

Northern Lakes 5, Detroit Lakes 2

DETROIT LAKES — Northern Lakes goalie Adler Hoagland stopped 22 of 24 shots and assisted on his team’s final goal as the Lightning defeated the Detroit Lakes Lakers 5-2 in a Mid-State Conference match Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Zachary Ehnstrom found the net twice for the Lightning while Jamison St. Clair and Hunter Nybakken each scored once.

Northern Lakes is 3-0 in the conference and 9-1 overall.
