Goals by Matt Casperson and Cole Ball in the final 2.5 minutes enabled the Brainerd Warriors to rally and salvage a 5-5 tie against the Fergus Falls Otters Tuesday night at Essentia Health Sports Center.
Brainerd trailed twice by two goals before securing a stalemate in a 2-point Central Lakes Conference game.
Adam Fischer, Kyle Weiss and Peter Dahl provided the other Brainerd goals. Brady Mick stopped 44 of 49 shots in the Warrior net.
"To get two in the last three minutes was good," Warriors coach Dave Aus said. "One thing I was pleased with was we didn't quit. We played hard. That's a good sign.
"It was not a good start but we reacted and came back well. A nice thing was our seniors got us going tonight."
