ZIMMERMAN — Riley Perry netted the game’s only goal with an assist from Alec Lindberg for the Little Falls Flyers who closed out their regular season with a 1-0 Granite Ridge Conference win over the Zimmerman Thunder Thursday, Oct. 8.
Zimmerman outshot Little Falls 12-6, but Flyer goalie Ben Rekstad held onto the clean sheet, including two stops on breakaways in the final five minutes.
Little Falls is seeded fourth and will host No. 5 Sartell in the opening round of the South Subsection 8-1A playoffs 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11.
