ST. FRANCIS — Jake Borders scored four goals to help the Lake Region Christian School Hornets rally from a 2-1 halftime deficit to defeat Rosemount 5-3 in the championship game of the St. Francis Tournament Saturday, Feb. 12.
Joseph Bostrom added the other Hornets’ goal. Soren Benson and Trey Ogren were credited with two assists apiece and Bostrom added another assist.
Josiah McGaffey corralled 10 saves in net for the 5-1 Hornets.
Earning All-Tournament spots for Lake Region were Borders, Phil Imdieke and Ogren.
