Area Boys Soccer: Hornets fall into third-place game after loss

PLYMOUTH — Jake Borders’ first-half goal gave No. 3 Lake Region Christian a 1-0 lead, but No. 2 First Baptist rallied with two goals in the second half to win 2-1 in the Minnesota Association of Christian Schools state semifinals Friday, Oct. 30.

Phil Imdieke assisted on the Borders goal and Josiah McGaffey tallied eight saves in goal for the Hornets.
