Area Boys Soccer: Ogren, Jensen hat tricks help LRCS to state semifinals

ROSEMOUNT - Tyler Ogren and Levi Jensen both netted hat tricks in the top-seeded Lake Region Christian Hornets' 7-0 win over No. 8 St. Francis in the quarterfinals of the Minnesota Association of Christian Schools State Tournament Thursday afternoon.

Jonas Boelter put in the other Hornet goal. Ogren, Tommy Thompson and Tanner Wikstrom had two assists each for LRCS.

Goalkeeper Micah McGaffey turned in the clean sheet for the Hornets who outshot St. Francis 18-6 and play Chisago in the championship semifinals at 2:15 p.m. Friday.
