ALEXANDRIA-The Aitkin All Starz won the Class 1A kick competition and were runners-up in jazz at Saturday's Alexandria Invitational.
Also in 1A, the Crosby-Ironton Rangerettes placed third out of 14 teams in kick and fifth in jazz.
"We knew coming in it would be a tough competition with great teams from across the state," C-I coach Amy Turk said. "We made a lot of changes to both dances so we are very excited with how well the team executed both routines."
In 2A, the Pequot Lakes Revolution placed second in jazz and third in kick.
