DETROIT LAKES - Thomas Miller rushed for 107 yards during the Little Falls Flyers' 21-14 loss to the Detroit Lakes Lakers in a season opener Saturday.
The teams were tied at 14 when the Lakers' Matt Haire caught a 45-yard TD pass with 6:41 remaining.
Daniel Marod's 9-yard pass reception from Brandon Backowski with 8:42 left had tied the score.
Gage Blechinger scored the Flyers' first touchdown with a fumble recovery in the end zone in the first quarter.
