Area Football: Tigers fall to Blackduck

PINE RIVER - Henry Krecklau rushed for 122 yards with a touchdown for Pine River-Backus, but the Tigers dropped into a North Star Conference tie with Blackduck after Friday's 28-20 loss.

Nick Gravdahl rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown and two conversions.

Zach Struss rushed in from six yards out in the second quarter, but the Tigers trailed at halftime 20-14.

It's the first conference loss for the Tigers, who drop to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
