PINE RIVER-Spencer Richards and Mitchell Wynn each ran for a pair of touchdowns for the Pine River-Backus Tigers who defeated the Blackduck Drakes 24-14 in a Northwest White Subdistrict game Friday.
Richards scored from 2 yards out in the first quarter and Wynn on a 7-yard run in the second for a 12-0 halftime lead.
Wynn added a 5-yard scoring run in the third and Richards capped the PRB scoring with another 2-yard run in the fourth.
Wynn finished with 35 carries for 138 yards for the Tigers who are 2-0 in the subdistrict, 3-0 overall.
