STAPLES -- Melissa Roberts scored 16 points to lead Class 2A's eighth-ranked Staples-Motley Cardinals past the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 84-33 in Mid-State Conference girls' basketball Friday.
S-M's Kendell Spar added 15 points and Michelle Honek 14 as the Cardinals won their 14th straight game.
