PILLAGER-Aitkin's Naomi Lane scored a team-high 10 points to lead the Gobblers over the Pillager Huskies 40-27 in the opening round of the Section 7-2A tournament Tuesday.
Gabby Martin and Bethany Gielow each scored 11 points to lead the Huskies, who lost their fifth straight game and finished the season at 18-9.
The Gobblers avenged a regular-season loss to Pillager and will now face the Esko/Hinckley-Finlayson winner in the quarterfinals Saturday.

Karli Skog added 15 points and Olivia Lane contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Patriots who have won their last four games and are 20-7.
