AITKIN-Kaija Davies tallied 20 points for the Aitkin Gobblers who cruised past the Columbia Heights Hylanders 52-23 in a non-conference game Monday, Dec. 17.
Ramsey Moe added 14 points for the Gobblers who have won four straight since starting the season with four losses.
Aitkin limited Columbia Heights to just 13 points in the first half and 10 in the second.
"I was really proud of our defensive commitment tonight, whether we were playing full court or half court zone or man-to-man," said Gobbler head coach Rob Williams. "We also shot 14 of 15 (93 percent) from the line and that was great. We've really improved on this over the last four games and that's going to help us moving forward."
