HOLDINGFORD--Claire Wolhowe led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points for the Staples-Motley Cardinals who made it six wins in a row with a 63-35 non-conference win over the Holdingford Huskers Thursday.

BAXTER-Grace Imdieke poured in 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Lake Region Christian Hornets who wrapped up their regular season Thursday with a 57-48 non-conference victory over Cambridge Christian.

Abby Grider added 11 points and dished off eight assists for the Hornets.

LRCS finished regular-season play 20-2 overall, 16-1 in the Minnesota Association of Christian Schools conference and has received the No. 1 seed for the MACS state tournament Feb. 23-25 at Plymouth.
